	Mohan Paints was established in 1975, and is owned by Mr. Kaushal kumar, a Technocrats Graduate in Paint Technology from one of the premier Technical Institute. As in the case with most of the small-scale companies, in the early stages our activities worked confined to government supplies mostly to defence department.
Being based in Lucknow was a disadvantage at that time. However with the globalization of the Indian economy and with the advent with the Information Technology revolutions, the location of the activity no longer remained a disadvantage. Being ambitious and having a sound financial standing we changed track to get into the specialization in the high performance coating. We were fortunate to have got the association of highly qualified individual like Mr. K. K., Arora, who have a verey good standing in the paint industries.
Mr. K. K. Arora has been in Mumbai for 40 years associated with the paints industries in varies capacities. He has been honorary editor of paint India, the only journal on the paint industry, for several years. He has widely traveled to Russia & western countries & has seen the development of paint technologies very closely. He is now settled in Lucknow, which is his home town & is full time associated with Mohan Paints.
